Cozy Gingerbread Latte using Archipelago Beans
If you love café-style drinks at home, this gingerbread latte is the perfect comforting recipe to try. The warm spice and sweetness from the gingerbread syrup pair beautifully with our Archipelago beans, creating a rich yet balanced coffee with earthy, floral, and fruity notes.
The medium-dark roast profile gives the drink enough depth to stand out, while the bright acidity keeps it smooth and lively instead of overly heavy.
Ingredients
- 18g Archipelago coffee beans
- 200ml milk
- 2–3 tbsp gingerbread syrup
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for topping (optional)
-
Ice (optional for iced version)
Instructions
1. Brew Your Coffee
Grind your Archipelago beans and brew a double shot of espresso. If you do not have an espresso machine, you can also use a moka pot, Aeropress, or strong brewed coffee.
2. Prepare the Gingerbread Base
Add the gingerbread syrup into your mug or glass. Pour the hot espresso over it and stir well to combine.
3. Steam or Heat the Milk
Heat your milk until warm and frothy. For an iced version, simply use cold milk and ice instead.
4. Assemble the Latte
Pour the milk into the coffee mixture slowly. Top with whipped cream and a light dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
Why It Works
The warm spice notes from the gingerbread syrup complement the earthy and floral profile of the Archipelago beans, while the fruity notes and bright acidity help keep the drink balanced and smooth.
It is festive, cozy, and easy to make at home — perfect for slow mornings, rainy afternoons, or late-night coffee cravings.
