Javara Bali Pemuteran Artisan Salt is made from seawater sourced from the pristine coastlines of North Bali. This handcrafted salt follows centuries-old Balinese salt-making traditions, where seawater is carefully processed to produce pure, high-quality salt crystals.
The production begins with double filtration of seawater to remove impurities. The filtered water is then naturally evaporated under the sun on large evaporation tables inside a solar house, helping maintain purity while minimizing contaminants such as sand, soil, and microplastics. Traditionally, seawater is also filtered through black volcanic sand beds to produce a clean brine before crystallization.
The result is light, delicate salt flakes with a subtle salinity and gentle natural sweetness that enhances the flavor of any dish.
Usage
Best used as a finishing salt.
Sprinkle over salads, tomatoes, grilled fish, roasted meats, sauces, or buttered bread to elevate flavor and texture.
